Sport England has recently launched a campaign which encourages people to work out from their homes. The #StayInWorkOut campaign is backed by the government and offers tips, advice and guidance on how to keep or get active in and around your home.
The ‘Get Active at Home’ section brings you a wide range of workouts platforms with on demand fitness content that you can do first thing in the morning, during your lunch break, or before going to sleep (basically anytime!).
Whoever you are and whatever your current circumstances, you will find useful information and ideas to help you keep moving and stay well. Topics include general fitness, workouts for the kids, yoga and pilates, exercises for older adults, exercises for disabled people or with long term health conditions, and mindfulness. To find out more about how you can get active at home, visit https://www.sportengland.org/stayinworkout#get_active_at_home.
If you’re alone or with members of your household, you can still go outside for one form of exercise per day such as walk, run, cycle. For more digital resources that would help your daily session outside, check out https://www.sportengland.org/stayinworkout#get_active_outdoors.
