Love Exploring is a free app coming to Leeds this month, which is packed full of fun walking trails to discover. People of all ages can download the app, get outside and start exploring.
It offers art, history, and mindfulness trails to follow as you wander around and learn more about your local area. And with plenty of games, quizzes and characters to keep children entertained, gone are the days of dragging feet.
If you’re brainstorming things to do with your family this summer, set out on one of Love Exploring’s Dinosaur Safaris. They will transform your children into intrepid explorers as they dash around and search for augmented reality dinosaurs in your local park. You can even take photos posing with the creatures and test your Jurassic knowledge in the built-in quiz.
From the start of the school summer holidays, Love Exploring Dinosaur Safaris, games and trails will be available in the following Leeds parks:
- Roundhay Park
- Middleton Park
- Cross Flats Park
- Armley/Gotts Park
- Bramley Falls
- Temple Newsam
- and along Leeds Waterfront
Our recent Get Set Leeds research shows us that people want more accessible, social and no-cost activities nearby, and young people in particular want activities to be more fun and engaging.
We believe that getting active doesn’t have to be boring or difficult, and that Love Exploring is a great way to get yourself and your family moving this summer and beyond. Whilst you’re having fun, spending time together and discovering more about Leeds, you will also be improving both your physical and mental health- sometimes without even realising!
Download the app for free and get exploring!
