No special kit is required for this – just loose clothes and bare feet. Although classes can be expensive, it’s easy to do yoga at home. Go online at a specialist site or try YouTube for a home tutorial. Or try a free class at city centre fitness wear shop Sweaty Betty or Pay as You Feel with a student teacher at Yoga Hero. Classes for pregnant women and new mums are offered at Yoga Kula and Yoga Space. There are private providers of yoga and pilates classes all over the city, and Active Leeds also offers a full yoga and pilates programme.
