The BBC’s Trust me I’m a Doctor teamed up with Marie Murphy, professor of exercise and health at Ulster University, to identify how listening to music while doing a brisk walk might be beneficial for your health.
24 volunteers were randomly split into two groups – one was asked to hit 10,000 steps a day, while the second group was encouraged to take a 30-minute brisk walk and listen to energetic music at the same time.
